Suspect in custody in Akron Iowa after pursuit North on Interstate 29 in South Dakota

Deputies in Union County were responding to a call of a violation of a no-contact order in Dakota Dunes when the suspect vehicle was spotted Northbound on Interstate 29.
The suspect driving a Black 2003 Cadillac CTS failed to yield to law enforcement and took off at a high rate of speed exceeding an estimated 120 miles per hour.
Authorities in Plymouth County were notified and Akron Police and Plymouth County Deputies located the suspect at Chubs in Akron, Iowa where he was taken into custody.
