Three captured after attempting to flee an Iowa State Trooper early Thursday in Sioux City

A trooper with the Iowa State Patrol spotted a possible stolen Pontiac G6 on Sioux City's Northside about 2:45 am Thursday. The vehicle fled from the trooper when they attempted a traffic stop. A pursuit ensued on Sioux City's Northside for about 5 minutes.
The vehicle occupants ran on foot near the Sioux City Country Club. Sioux City Police setup a permitter. Police took 3 people into custody. The vehicle was not the same vehicle that had been stolen earlier in the evening.
