Male Body Recovered From Perry Creek at Missouri River

Just after 2 pm Sioux City Police were dispatched to Larson Park Rd after someone reported a body in the river.

Responding officers found a body in Perry Creek where it meets the Missouri River. With the assistance of Sioux City Fire Rescue they were able to recover the body of an unidentified black male from the water. This incident remains under investigation.

More information will be released once the body has been identified and next of kin has been notified.
