Police say they have taken Isaac McDonald into custody and he will be booked into the Woodbury County Jail. No other information is being released at this time.

Sioux City Police say they have issued an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Isaac "Gus" McDonald for Attempted Murder. McDonald is described as 6 foot tall, weighing 320lbs. He has several tattoos including one on the back of his right hand that says "712" and a scar on the bridge of his nose.

McDonald is wanted for the attempted Murder of 19-year-old John Mercure. A release from Sioux City Police says that McDonald shot Mercure in the head on August 1st about 10:22 pm.

Charges may be sought against anyone found to be assisting, aiding, abetting, or harboring McDonald.
