A release from Sioux City Police says that about 9:38 pm on Sunday, October 8th the victim was stopped at a red light at 14th and Pierce Streets in Sioux City when an unknown black male got into the passenger side of their vehicle.
The victim was instructed to drive while the suspect held them at gunpoint. The suspect later identified as Isiac Joesph Brown, 35 instructed the victim to continue driving and proceeded to take the victims wallet containing cash and personal documents before getting out of the vehicle. The victim was able to provide police a description of the suspect.
About 1:50 am police on patrol located a male matching the description given by the victim. He took off running when he saw police. Brown was located a short time later with the assistance of police K9. He had the victims wallet in his possession. Isiac Brown was booked into the Woodbury County Jail charged with Robbery 1st. Brown is being held without bail.
