Charges were dismissed on October 30th.

Police say the victim Jeremy Barger Hebert, 40 was shot and killed early Saturday Morning by Becky Hebert. An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.

Plymouth County Deputies have arrested Becky J Hebert, 33 of Akron charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree after they say she deliberately caused the death of a male in his 40s.

A release from Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office says at 12:15 am on Friday, October 6th Akon Ambulance and Plymouth County Deputies responded to 13203 Evergreen Avenue in Akron for reports of a man suffering a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Mercy Medical Center by Akron Ambulance where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

An investigation by Akron Police Department, Le Mars Police Department, and Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office determined the death to be a manner of homicide. Law Enforcement says they have responded to this residence for incidents of domestic abuse and disturbances in the past.

Police say that the two were arguing prior to the shooting. Becky Hebert has been booked into the Plymouth County Jail.
