Sioux City Police responded to West 4th and Leonard in Sioux City about 6:30 pm on Thursday evening for reports of a truck hitting a person.
Police say that a Juvenile female on a skateboard was on Leonard street crossing West 4th when a truck that was traveling on West 4th struck the juvenile.
When police and EMS arrived the juvenile was deceased. An investigation into the crash is being conducted.
