Just after 8 pm Wednesday night a motorcycle traveling southbound on Hamilton Blvd struck the broadside of a car traveling northbound and turning onto W 24th St.
The 26 year old driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries and later life-flighted to Omaha. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
A 17 year old female had to be extricated from the car involved before she was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The 18 year old male driver was uninjured. Both were wearing seatbelts. No charges have been filed as this incident remains under investigation.
