Sioux City Police responded to a disturbance call on the 500 block of Myrtle street about 6:30 pm on Friday.

In the course of the investigation into the call, an officer was bitten in the leg by a dog at the residence. The injuries required medical attention.

A female involved in the disturbance was taken into custody for False Reporting. The dog was taken to animal control for quarantine.
