Police responded to 3811 Peters Avenue in the Morningside neighborhood of Sioux City just after 6:00 pm Tuesday for reports of a disturbance.
When police arrived they discovered two victims with stab wounds, both were transported to the hospital. One victim died as a result of their injuries. The second police say has serious injuries.
The suspect 30-year-old Paul Roosevelt Belk was taken into custody at the scene and has been charged with Willful Injury and 1st Degree Murder.
