Robbery at Hard Rock parking lot police arrest suspect a short time later at Ramada

About 9:45 pm Thursday Sioux City Police responded to the Hard Rock parking lot for a report of an armed robbery.

Police search local businesses and other places as well as reviewing security camera footage before ending up at the Ramada where they identified and located their suspect.

In a release, Sioux City Police say they arrested 26-year-old Robert William Anderson on charges of Robbery 1st after he approached a person in the Hard Rock parking lot displayed a firearm and demanded cash and their vehicle. Anderson was able to get away with the cash but not the vehicle.
