Child hospitalized after being hit by vehicle in Greenville Sunday afternoon

Police say a child was transported to the hospital after being backed into by a car on the 2800 Block of 2nd Street in Sioux City about 12:45 pm on Sunday, October 28th.

The kid was riding their bike on the 2800 Block of 2nd Street and an SUV was backing down the road. The incident is being investigated by traffic investigators. The last known condition of the child was stable but unconscious.
