Sioux City Police, Fire and Siouxland Paramedics responded to the 1000 Block of 4th Street in Sioux City for reports of multiple victims from a stabbing about 2:16AM Sunday Morning.

Police searched the area and known locations for a male suspect driving a White 2009 Chevrolet Silverado.

A release from Sioux City Police says the victims, who suffered non-life threatening stab wounds were trying to assist a female involved in an altercation with the male suspect when he turned on them as they were trying to intervene.

The victims were transported to Mercy Medical Center where they were treated and later released.

Police say the suspect has been identified but not yet located and the incident is under investigation.
