We have received confirmation that a person died early Sunday Morning after being found unresponsive behind a home on the 4500 Block of West 19th Street.

Police made two arrests on Sunday for violations of No Contact Order, we’ve learned that these individuals have ties to the residence where the person was found but their charges are currently not related to the death.

We know that Sioux City Police spent most of the morning and part of the afternoon on Sunday at the residence and in the area investigating.

Previous
Police were called to the 4500 Block of West 19th about 4:30AM on Sunday. Once they arrived medical was requested.

All we know at this time is police are still on the scene and an investigation appears to be under way.
