Iowa State Patrol Pursuit ends on West Side Dead End

According to Court Documents, Iowa State Patrol attempted to stop a Black Toyota Corolla for a seat belt violation near Hamilton Blvd and West 4th about 2:00AM on Friday Morning. The vehicle took off ignoring lights and sirens.  The driver ran numerous stops signs and reached speeds of 70MPH in residential neighborhoods.

When the vehicle reached a dead end in the 2900 Block of West Highland the vehicle stopped and the passenger got out and complied with Law Enforcement commands. The driver pretended to comply and then attempted to take off after turning the steering wheel towards the Trooper and stepping on the gas, the vehicle went over a retaining wall and hit a tree. The driver was removed from the vehicle and then took off on foot. The Trooper then deployed his tazer which caused Myron to fall to the ground.

After being taken into custody and during booking Myron gave a false name and the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen in Flandreau, South Dakota.

Shortly after 2:00AM on Friday Sioux City Police assisted Iowa State Patrol in a Pursuit on Sioux City's West Side. The Pursuit came to an end in the 2900 Block of West Highland at a dead end. There were two occupants in the car and one was arrested. Myron Beauvais was booked into the Woodbury County Jail on charges of Eluding, Suspended Drivers License, Reckless Driving, Falsify Public Documents, No Insurance, No Registration, Theft 2nd, Interference with Official Acts, Hold For South Dakota. His Bond is set at $12,400
