According to court documents charges in this case were dismissed.

Sioux City Police were dispatched to 7th and Alice about 1:30PM Sunday afternoon. The reporting party heard what they believed to be shots fired from a handgun and saw two vehicles leave the area at the time that were not familiar.

Police were able to locate a vehicle, shell casings, and a suspect in the area.

Carter Brinkerhoff, 20 was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a firearm within City Limits. He was booked into the Woodbury County jail and being held on $5300 Bond.
