Rescue crews respond to man in river

About 2:00PM on Friday Sioux City Fire Rescue and Siouxland Paramedics were called to Sioux City Riverfront for reports of a man going into the river and then seen floating downstream. Crews began walking the bank and deploying watercraft in order to locate the subject. About 2:30PM they had located the unidentified man, got him into the boat and began CPR. He was transported to the hospital by Siouxland Paramedics and his condition is not known at this time.
