A release from Dakota County Sheriff's Office says that when deputies arrived they were unable to enter the home as it was filled with smoke. Contact was made with the home over who was in Arizona told officials nobody was to be in the home.
The body, believed to be a Native American Male was transported to Sioux City for an autopsy to determine the cause of death and identification. It has been determined the man died of smoke inhalation and foul play is not suspected.
Firefighters spent most of Thursday fighting the blaze, the home is a complete loss.
